The Nightmare Before Christmas has been one of my all time favorite films that I’ve ever seen since I was a little kid. I love the story, the music, the animation…everything about it! Growing up, I think we could all relate to the feeling of wanting to see what else is out there in the world! (Hey, even as adults I think we can still find ourselves wondering how much more there is to life! Haha) I was so excited to recreate Sally’s look this Halloween and was happy to see some of you requesting it! I tried to keep the makeup as true to the way the character looked as possible. Of course, it’s tough because Sally had these huge round eyes and a really round head…but I tried to think of it as if the animated character were to become a human. That’s usually how I try to think about things when recreating animated looks. I don’t think of it as transforming myself into an animated character but transforming the animated character into a human. I think it makes things much simpler and more realistic. Hope you enjoyed!!!

PRODUCTS USED
Makeup Forever 12 Flash Color Palette (Just used the white and the blue colors. Of course, you can just mix white and blue face paints together or put on a light foundation and go to town with blue and white eyeshadows! Haha)
Eyeshadows I used came out of a Matte 88 Eyeshadow Palette: http://bit.ly/mZixkz (These palettes are great for Halloween makeup because they’ve got a ton of colors and are really inexpensive! I get mine from BHCosmetics.com. Used them way before they ever even knew who I was. Another, popular site, had horrible customer service.)
Lancome Le Crayon Khol in “Blanc” (white eyeliner)
Lancome Artliner in “Noir” (black liquid liner)
Spider Lashes (Used the bottoms on the top because they were extra spaced apart like Sally’s lashes. You can find these at a lot of drugstores like CVS during the Halloween season.)
Makeup Forever Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick in “#48″ (dark cranberry color. It’s gorgeous if you love dark lips! It also would look great if you’re dressing up as a Vampire just because the color is kind of bloody looking.)
Costume is the “Sassy Sally” (Warning! It has some black glitter on it that can get all over your hands and stuff. It’s not crazy messy but just mildly annoying. The wig is AWFUL.)
