Most of us have never been taught how to do the shit that’s actually important in life — how to manage our thoughts and emotions during stressful times; how our mindset can affect our lives more than we think; self-awareness and how to analyze ourselves rather than criticize ourselves; how to take risks and make difficult decisions; how to know the difference between what we want and what we are programmed to want; how to let go of the limiting beliefs about life that were put on us before we even had the ability to make a choice for ourselves; the list goes on and on.
Maybe we were told to simply, “get over it.” Or maybe we were told, “how could you not be happy when you have this thing or that thing?” Or, my personal favorite, “there are people who have it so much worse than you do.” Maybe some of these things might be true, but they don’t help. Your happiness, no matter what your circumstances are, is directly impacted by the quality of your thoughts. And despite the fact that we’ve never been taught how to use the way our minds work to our advantage so that we don’t need to be at the mercy of whatever’s been on autopilot, it’s totally possible.
What I’ve been doing is completely different and has been blowing my damn mind.
I hate sounding like the corny ass people online that promise the moon and the stars for a thousand dollar pamphlet that reads like it was written by a third grader at the bottom of their class. No, I’m not doing that. Ew! This is beyond practical and affordable.
I’m not going to tell you that doing this stuff is going to give you everything you could want in an instant, HOWEVER, what you will get out of it — more clarity, peace of mind, relief, strength, confidence, and more — will surprise you.
I’ve gotten so many questions about my exact techniques and practices, and what is so unique about the ways that I use a journal. I decided to put it all in an ebook. Everything that’s been working for me, why it works, and how you can do it, too, no matter where you’re currently at in your life.
