There are few people as chic as Victoria Beckham these days. She has such a simple elegance to her — very reminiscent of Jackie O, Audrey Hepburn, but with a modern twist.
It makes total sense for Victoria Beckham to have a makeup line. She’s known for her smokey eyes and chiseled cheekbones! & is it just me, or does she always have a tan year-round?
I did get to try out a few of the products from the initial launch of the Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder collab almost a year ago; I definitely did like the products but I wasn’t in love with much other than the packaging and the “Modern Mercury” Highlighter.
Don’t get me wrong. They first products released were nice. I reached for them occasionally. But I wasn’t obsessed.
This time around was VERY different!
When I got my hands on a few of the pieces from the latest launch, I was instantly mesmerized.
First off, the packaging has been tweaked to be even more glam this time around. I’m sorry, I’m a total sucker for really pretty packaging. But, of course, the packaging isn’t enough. The products themselves have to be really great, too.
Especially for the price.
Yes, this collection is definitely not cheap. I understand that not everyone can go and spend hundreds of dollars on makeup, no matter how beautiful the packaging might be or even how well the products work.
I received a number of messages from many of you, expressing that you really would like to get your hands on a piece or two, for the sake of having a piece of a luxury brand in your collection, but wanted to know which items were worth the splurge in my eyes.
So, I created a list of items that are not just my personal favorites for the VBxEsteeLauder Collection, but I also pointed out specifically what kind of glamour girl would especially love the piece. I hope this helps you narrow down your selection.
