PRETTY CONFIDENT! Makeup Tutorial & Motivational Video in 1

Hello, gorgeous!

Recently I was approached by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics to create a video spreading the word about their Pretty Powerful 2.0 Campaign, a campaign started by Bobbi Brown to help women feel more powerful and empowered. She says, “I hope that this campaign will show women that they are beautiful in their own way.” Of course, if you’ve been watching my videos (especially the ones on my personal channel) you know that my message to you all is very similar. One of the things I love about making my videos is being able to help girls not only learn about makeup and how to have fun with glamour, but also share words of inspiration. It’s not all about the makeup, the hair, and the clothes, it’s about being able to learn from one another and be inspired and encouraged by one another. When I first started on YouTube, I was kind of shy and nervous about sharing too much of my personality because I was afraid people wouldn’t like me. But as time went on, I’ve gotten much more comfortable with letting loose every now and then and sharing different sides of me. I’ve shared some of my crazy accents and opened up a little more about my “less serious” side. I’ve even shown you my not-at-all-by-any-stretch-of-the-imagination perfect skin and was blown away by how much you all appreciated that! What I’ve learned throughout the process is that being yourself is way better than trying to be “perfect” because not only does perfection not exist but it’s mind-blowingly boring! And I have all of you to thank for making me feel more comfortable.
